Import Beacons list from a file to TRBOnet

This article describes the process of Import iBeacons and K-Term beacons.
TRBOnet versions 5.5 and newer has possibility to import list of Beacons from .csv file.
TRBOnet versions 5.2.5 - 5.4 has possibility to import list of Beacons from Excel file.

1. Download .csv file attached to this KB article.
This file contains the 'fields' (parameters) that can be imported to TRBOnet.
File already has examples of records for iBeacons (1) and K-Term beacons (0).

Note!
Note the "HardwareBeaconId" column. For iBeacons it represents Major (first digits) and Minor (second digits).

2. Edit file with information required.

3. In the Dispatch console go to Tools -> Import Objects -> Beacons -> Import

TRBOnet versions 5.2.5 - 5.4 has possibility to import list of Beacons from Excel file.

1. Identify which Beacons you want to import and download corresponding Excel file attached to this KB article.

2. Edit file with information required in cells

3. In Dispatch console go to Location Tracking, in Objects field right-click on Beacons and select Import.
In pop-up window choose Import Drop down list -> Excel and in Browse window navigate to file with Beacons information.
Information on this screen (Name, Hardware IDs and Type options can't be changed at this step) and Save.
