Summary
This article describes the requirements for SIP gateways used to integrate analog PBX systems with TRBOnet. It covers supported interface types, SIP protocol requirements, and gateway models tested with TRBOnet.
Interface Requirements
Identify whether the PBX uses FXO or FXS analog interfaces and determine how many lines of each type are required to match the capacity of the VoIP gateway.
SIP Gateway Requirements
• The gateway must support SIP 2.0 and allow registration of external SIP extensions or SIP trunks for third-party software.
• The SIP gateway is accessed in the same way as any standard SIP client.
