Summary

This article provides reference tables and notes covering compatibility between MOTOTRBO radios, Swift Option Boards, Motorola GOB modules, Swift Agents, firmware, software, interconnection schemes, and power requirements.

When switching to a channel with OB disabled, the radio removes OB power until reboot. Keep OB enabled on all channels if OB logic must remain active.

Motorola firmware 2020.02 enables Fast Noise Suppressor Training Period for 10 seconds, which breaks OB communication when a Digital radio operates on an Analog channel. Disable this feature and all Voice Enhancement options in the codeplug.

General Notes

1. 1st gen radios are not compatible with ST002.
2. Compact 3441 series EMEA does not support OB.
3. Compact E series 3441E/3661E works with Motorola GOB only.
4. SL radios include built-in Motorola GOB compatible with Swift logic. No GPS module. Indoor localization supported. Accelerometer not available to OB logic.
5. Emergency Call handling is only available for Radios equipped with Display.
6. ST002t (Transfer) is not compatible with Swift Logic. Use only with Swift Agent in USB transfer mode.
7. E series radios produce broken audio if rear USB and front programming cable are connected at the same time. Disconnect programming cable and power cycle radio and Agent.
8. A100/A200/A200m (in USB RoIP Gateway mode) auto-flashes ST002/ST002m/ST002t. A300 (in USB RoIP Gateway mode) auto-flashes MOTOTRBO GOB 2.
9. Swift CPS 1.9.1.108 adds Motorola R7 GOB support. R7 is not compatible with ST002 family.

Power Requirements and Specifications

Test voltage and polarity before use.

Power Supply Notes

Swift Agent power supply is purchased separately.
Use a 12V DC adapter with 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm plug, positive polarity.
Swift Agent stabilizer supports up to 16V input.

A100 Backup Power Notes

Swift Agent A100 can operate from an external battery connected as a power source.
For rack solutions use sealed lead-acid batteries 12V 12Ah to 40Ah as backup power.
The power consumption is up to 500 mA.
The battery can be replaced only when the Swift Agent is powered off.
