Major Release Features

AI Speech to Text

Description: Allows converting voice transmissions into text using Artificial Intelligence, either online or retrospectively in reports.

Transcription quality depends on the performance of the specific language model.
We recommend selecting a language model that best suits the language being used.

TRBOnet can connect to a commercial language model (OpenAI Whisper, via purchasing an API key) or locally (v1 API version is used).

TRBOnet Demo license allows you to test the operation of the language model in test mode (OpenAI Whisper) with a pre-configured connection.
When using a Commercial or Trial license, the demo function of the language model is not available.
More information on the feature can be found in the article AI Speech to text feature.
New account roles and role assignment methods

Description:

1. A new role has been introduced (Super Administrator).
2. Automatic addition of TRBOnet Dispatcher and Administrator accounts via LDAP (Active Directory and Entra ID) for new accounts.
3. Ability to automatically assign roles based on Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID permissions dynamically.
4. The Refresh Domain Group Membership function updates group information (which Windows users belong to them) in AD or Entra if they have changed on the domain controllers.
TRBOnet Authentication User Guide is available in the documentation section → Features → Authentication Methods
Multi Factor Authentication for dispatchers

Description: The option enforces an additional authentication step for the user by entering a temporary password sent via SMS, Email, or from a linked authentication application (Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).

More information on Multi-Factor Authentication is available in TRBOnet Authentication User Guide in the documentation section → Features → Authentication Methods
