This article describes the requirements for selecting SIP gateways used to integrate analog PBX systems with TRBOnet.
It is best to choose and deploy the SIP gateway together with SIP engineer - show them this article so they can pick the most reliable and compatible model for TRBOnet.
Interface Requirements

Identify whether the PBX uses FXO or FXS analog interfaces and determine how many lines of each type are required to match the capacity of the VoIP gateway.

SIP Gateway Requirements

The gateway must support SIP 2.0 and allow registration of external SIP extensions or SIP trunks for third-party software.

The SIP gateway is accessed in the same way as any standard SIP client.

The following VoIP gateways have been successfully configured:

If these models are not available select a VoIP gateway that meets the interface and SIP requirements listed above.
