TRBOnet allows exporting and importing various configuration objects.

Object export is performed from the Dispatch Console via:

Use Case Example: Preparing a Fleetmap in Excel and Importing into TRBOnet

If you want to create a fleet of subscriber radios using an external spreadsheet (such as Excel), you can use the following workflow:

1. In the Dispatch Console, create one subscriber entry with all required parameters.
2. Export the Radios object list using:
ToolsObject ExportRadiosExport
3. Open the exported file in Excel.
4. Use the exported entry as a base and replicate it for each additional radio, editing the fields as required.
5. Save the file.
6. Re-import the completed list back into TRBOnet:
ToolsImport ObjectsRadiosImport

Radio Import

2. Fill in the required data.
3. In the Dispatch Console, navigate to:
AdministrationRadiosRegisteredAdd MOTOTRBO RadioImport from file
4. Set Import format = Excel, then browse to the .xls file.
5. Confirm and save.

Beacon Import

1. Download the appropriate template:
2. Fill in the required data.
Beacon parameters such as Name, Hardware ID and Type cannot be edited during import; edit in Excel before importing.
3. In the Dispatch Console, go to:
Location TrackingBeacons (right-click) Import
4. In the import window:
Select Import format = Excel
Browse to the completed .xls file
Verify that all Beacons were imported correctly
5. Click Save to complete the process.
