The VoIP Dispatch Console for MOTOTRBO

The TRBOnet console was created with the dispatcher's needs in mind. The IP console offers a wide range of features enabling the dispatcher to fully control and manage available resources. The Voice Dispatch functionality includes, but not limited to, the following features:

All Call Types

The operator can make and receive private, group, broadcast and emergency calls, in other words, all call types available in MOTOTRBO are supported. The dispatcher can see activity on all channels, adjust sound settings or mute talk groups or channels.

Cross Patch

A simple drag-and-drop operation connects two or more channels on a temporary or permanent basis. Any activity on any of the patched channels or talk groups is automatically forwarded to the other patched channels, as if all radio users on these channels were on the same channel. This feature may be useful in case of emergency when you want radio users on different channels to be able to communicate with each other to rectify the situation. The talk groups in the cross patch can belong to independent radio networks connected to the same TRBOnet Server application.

Select and Unselect Channels

The Select/Unselect channels capability simplifies the job of operating multichannel systems and allows operators to concentrate on tasks that matter. You can configure a primary (Select) and secondary (Unselect) channels by routing the audio traffic to any speakers connected to a dispatcher terminal, which makes it easy for an operator to distinguish which channel the call is coming from.

Pre-recorded Voice Messages

TRBOnet allows you to record a voice message before transmitting it into the radio network. You can then send it to an offline radio, and the radio user will hear it as soon as the radio goes online and registers with the radio system. This feature is similar to Voicemail on your mobile phone. On the other hand, you can also transmit a voice message on a busy channel, it will be delivered to relevant radio subscribers as soon as the channel is free.

Text-to-Speech

This system converts normal language text into speech. The text can contain variables, such as Radio ID, Street Name, that are replaced with real names or values at the moment of conversion. This feature can be used in conjunction with pre-recorded voice messages, alarm management etc.
